DLI Program Details
20 hours of intermediate or advanced Mandarin classroom language study per week.
Students will be taught by certified Chinese instructors and challenged to take their Chinese skills to the next level.
Students will take pre- and post-program Oral Language Proficiency Interviews as well as reading and listening assessments to show measurable results of their progress over the month-long program.
Students will live with host families for their month-long program and have an opportunity to use Chinese in their daily life.
Families will provide breakfast and dinner during the week, and all meals on the weekends. Lunch will be provided at the host institution from Monday through Friday.

Cultural activities in the afternoon
Group-based cultural activities will reinforce language skills taught in the classroom. Explore the region with excursions designed to introduce you to sites of historical and cultural importance in your region.
